Without Excuse - Deadly Chain Reaction
A Narrative of a Land Immersed in Faith
In a distant land, the inhabitants perceived the presence of God in nearly every aspect of their surroundings. They revered the creatures that inhabited the earth, the majestic mountains, the shimmering stars, the vibrant rainbows, and even the expansive cornfields. They observed significant historical events and recognized the hand of God in each. Reflecting on their own lives, they acknowledged divine guidance. The majority found comfort in prayer within their homes and participated in Sunday worship at church. Their children attended schools that emphasized the importance of prayer, taught the principles of God's ways, and distinguished between right and wrong.
A Transformation in Perspective
Over time, a subtle change emerged. Initially, people did not openly deny God's existence; rather, they chose to disregard Him. Instead of marveling at God's wisdom and power evident in creation, they began attributing phenomena to "the laws of nature." They credited their achievements solely to personal effort, neglecting to recognize God's role in their blessings. This shift triggered a detrimental chain reaction that gradually eroded the community's spiritual foundation and moral compass.
